Slow BIOS navigation? Check that thermal paste again, sounds like overheating. If you are not sure what good thermal paste connection should look like, put some on a flat piece of metal, and smush it with another piece of metal. Also, check to make sure that your Heatsink os properly vented, and that dust particles are not blockin the airflow. Best of Luck, Tough Gaming Technical Support Agent Elisha
Leer másSounds like your mainboard's connector is getting worn. Have you tried manually adjusting the position of the iPod when it is in the dock. Also, is there any water damage to the device? Using a wall charger or usb cable and wall adapter, try to charge it. Also, adjust the position of the cable connector into the iPod to see if you get some response. It just might be a bad connection. Best of Luck, Tough Gaming Technical Support Agent Elisha
Leer másIt is either a problem with your LCD Display Screen or your device's mainboard. On the mainboard of your device, there should be making (e.g. 820-1975-A). You should be able to find your correct model and then replace the mainboard, if you want to go that route. Since the classic Firmware is pretty much set, there is no real worry about data, but back it up prior to replacing the mainboard. However, it might be that the data will transfer over just fine, and you won't need the backup. Again, try the LCD Dispaly Screen first. Second, replace the device's mainboard. Leer másYou should be able to update it. If not, send it to me =D. I will cover the shipping cost. You should not have any problems going from from 3.6 to 4.2. Here is SONY's page to the update 4.2. It details how to update. Also, you can GOOGLE the specific firmware and download it and install it off a flashdrive. But, be sure to have it formatted in the FAT32 format, otherwise the PS3 will not recognize it. http://goo.gl/Hknkm Best of Luck, Tough Gaming Technical Support Agent Elisha

Leer másYou may have a faulty / corrupt hard drive in your device. I would recommend backing up the iPod, and installing a new Hard Drive into the iPod, and then copy everything back over. This should resolve the issue. Best of Luck, Agent Elisha
Leer másHold down the Power/Sleep button and the Home button for 10 - 15 seconds, or until the apple logo appears. If this does not work your backlight on your mainboard is blown, or you have damaged your LCD Display Screen and you will need to get another assembly. There is a high probability though that your iPod just needs a hard reboot. iPod Touch 4th Gen Repairs: http://goo.gl/sOVmK Best of Luck, Agent Elisha
Leer másYes, you tore your ribbon cable. However, you won't need to spend $200 to fix it, as The tinker said. Just oder another screen, or send in your iPhone for repair. Here is a link if you are interested in having us do it. And yes (although I think you already know this), the LCD Display Screen and Glass Digitizer Touch Screen are one unit and INSEPERABLE on the iPhone 4. Although, if you purchase them both seperately and install that way, you could save money on the next repair by only having to replace one =D.
