I had this happen to a n Epson. It was a while back and I forget the details. I called Epson support. Don’t know where I found a number. The had me hit sequences of buttons to factory reset the printer. It worked and the printer was fine after that.
If you do it yourself the battery will be less than U.S. 25.00 dollars. It is worth a try if it has already been on for 10 minutes. There is no guarantee but, it is cheaper than a new phone.
Go into power options and turn off hibernation. Also, set your screen timeouts to turn off (not hibernate) as you desire. Set <do nothing> when lid is closed. It will tome out and turn off as normal with lid open or closed. I have had some computers that just do not like hibernation.
Hold the <Power> button, <Up Volume> and <Home> button at the same time and select option to factory reset. The <Up> and <Down> volume button is used to navigate the choices and make the selection with the <power> button.
Bring up settings in the Apps tray if it was removed from the desktop. Choose <Connections>, <WiFi> and delete the old connection and scan for the new one, select it and enter the information when prompted.
Thanks, replaced my battery!
Quick and painless battery change!
All I have worked on has been Samsung S series phones and Note tablets. They have been a pleasure. However, they are what I know the best.
