Volvo XC90 2.5T Will Not Crank, Starter, Relay, Fuses All Good? All of a sudden with no warning stopped and would not crank, no immobilizer activated, just won't crank, had to have towed...
Respuesta a "Why did all transmission fluid run out of car"A sudden loss of transmission fluid usually ends up with something from the road you hit which punctured the aluminum pan, seen it a hundred times, so you have to get under vehicle to examine. Blown seals usually leak slowly, but above all, do not try to drive vehicle with no fluid or even low fluid, especially Nissans for they have very problematic issues with even low fluid failures.
Respuesta a "Why does My 1999 Volvo S80 crank but won't start?"Another quick check if not a fuel pressure issue, unplug the MAP sensor and see if engine starts, this can prevent your motor from starting as well if dirty or bad, and you can safely drive with it disconnected, better than wasting money of tow. These are the most simple and quick ways to diagnose without diagnostic tools. Another common issue if not getting fuel to engine PEM module located near fuel pump in right side pass. rear wheel well which suffers from corrosion in connections. And if it turns out to be this module, you can buy the same one at Ford dealer for half the price than at Volvo dealer. lol
Respuesta a "Volvo XC90 2.5T Will Not Crank, Starter, Relay, Fuses All Good?"Turned out that the ignition key decided to crap out, would not transmit to ignition halo receiver, had to get towed home, and then to dealer, XC90 sat in dealer for a month before they could diagnose, then said they had to order key from Sweden, another two weeks, crazy, but what was even more crazy, cost me over $550. including tow, all for a stupid new key.
