Gil, The sound card in all of the macs (as far as the models I have seen) are integrated into the motherboard. The USB sound card or a motherboard replacement are likely the best way to move forward.

Hello Grace, Your screen is easily able to be fixed. You can purchase the screen from the below site (as long as the model number was listed correctly on here. Hello, All phones will get warm while being used. If it is becoming uncomfortably hot I would bring it back to where you purchased the phone and get a replacement. Unfortunately the most likely situation with this iPad is that the home button was damaged when it was removed from the original screen, and this cannot be repaired. Roje ha, It appears that you received a defective screen. Your best bet would be to call the company you ordered it from and ask for a replacement under warranty.
