Respuesta a "Fans louder after thermal paste job, despite a lower temp."And I agree, processor cooling fans don’t have a mind of their own and just shift into overdive on freeway. May be a good learning experience for you, I know the paste does need some care applying, A card comes in handy to spread it evenly. And it is not a case of “a lot is better” a thin even layer should work well. I admit I had a time with mine but after it did run correctly after sitting for some time , I took processor off cleaned with 91% alcohol and a nice thin layer of Arctic Silver, I hope you found your answer above as it sounded right on the money to me. One thing about Computers is they can be a bit “cranky” at times but it is usually because a problem still lurks. Good computing and be safe. Chaosone7.
Respuesta a "No display on the bios and fan spin up really fast."had/going thru similar thing. (Strange). I got frustrated and set the pc to the side for about 6 months. Got it out last night and re-inserted ram sticks.(I left them out when I became frustrated.) low and behold the thing booted up to windows fine!. Maybe it is a bad ram stick? It did start running the hard drive VERY FAST so I am at troubleshooting mode again. It all began with a newer pc, about 6 months old since refurb. I was cleaning it and when I removed the cowl over cpu and removed heatsink it took cpu with it. I spread thermal paste on cpu and followed directions for replacing it. No dice...beep codes and # codes. I assume it is the thermal paste not spread properly but have no idea why it waited 5-6 months b/4 it decided to boot again. BUT , now my hard drive is running wide open it seems so I am going to take cpu out again and do a to the letter application of thermal paste and hope that is the problem. It did run fine for about fifteen minutes then the infernal whining of the hard drive. I hope...
Respuesta a "My phone wont turn on at all"Do you have developers option on? Also try taking battery out ,push power button 2-3 times and put battery back in see if anything changed. If not I am going to give you a link where someone should know or have or have had the same problem.http://forums.androidcentral.com/verizon-galaxy-nexus/174854-weird-grey-red-toolbar-coordinatewhem-i-touch-screen.html
