it may possibly be the main board, solder overtime will expand and contract and this will cause a bad ground. i would certainly see if your tv box should be rebooted or replaced. and of course check your hdmi/rca and coaxil chords, before you invest in a main board. thanks for asking, matt of martin's tv repair
Leer másWhen these models are under warranty. Manufactures will send a new screen. I then remove the boards from the original set and place them into the new LCD screen. Matt of Martins TV.
Leer máschances are real good the led lamps caught caught in a power surge. i would not even attempt a repair, as this would be to costly. even you replaced the power suppy and get a standby light on, your led lamps in the screen have also failed. you may see these replaced on you tube. this is a very time consuming project. under warranty we would receive a new panel (screen) and remove the boards from current tv, and into the new panel (screen). thanks for asking, matt of martins tv repair. Update (03/26/2022): THIS IS A GOOD INDICATION THE LED LAMPS IN THE SCREEN HAVE BEEN BURNDT. REPAIR IS TO COSTLY FOR REPAIR. THANKS FOR ASKING, MATT OF MARTINS TV.
Leer másI have repaired many LG’s under warranty. The panel is bad. When under warranty, we are sent a new panel (TV screen). Then remove the boards from your TV, and put them into the new panel. You may have seen repairs on youtube where they replace the LED’s in the panel. That might be fine, the work is very, very time consuming and sometimes a complete waste of time. If your TV is out of warranty I suggest shopping for new. Thanks for asking, Matt of Martins TV Repair.
Leer másin some cases it would be the signal board (where your rca cables and hdmi’s are). but not in this case. you have a bad panel. the led lights are shorting and are out. therefore screen is not lit. replacing the screen (panel) is not feasible for repair. you can order the led’s. many a times this (replacing the led’s) is a complete loss of time and money. when under warranty, we would receive a new panel. install the original tv boards into the panel for a complete repair. thank you for asking. matt of martins tv repair. Update (12/24/2021): KEEP US POSTED, WANT TO SEE IF THIS IS CORRECT.
Leer másThis unit has a bad Eeprom at its best. The second problem, a bad led is causing the flashing you mentioned. These are the two things that can cause the flashing you speak of. I would say a bad LED, in this case. Repacing an LED or Eeprom is nearly impossible. All components are micro chip and stamped into place. Next option, is buy new. Thanks for asking, Matt of Martins TV.
Leer másLength should not be a problem. You must count contacts to see if they are the same. I am authorized service center for Philips. Thanks for asking. Matt of Martins TV.
Leer másI have answered this before. It is not your television that has this problem. What you describe is a common occurrence for any and all TVs. The provider networks do not seem to have audio balances, that provide for virtual sound. We are talking about the paid services you get from Net Flex and the like. Satellite and Cable are usually consistent. There is only one manufacturer of TVs that provides a fairly good chance to defeat this. If you look at my earlier posts you will see my answers. A sound bar will not correct the problem. So…..be happy your TV is fine. Thanks for listening, Matt of Martins TV Repair.
Leer másYes, that can work. The real problem is that there are a few LED’s that are not coming on. By setting the picture mode to Movie or sometimes Game mode will correct the flashing. Picture is not totally bright, but you can enjoy your TV. Thank you for listening, Matt of Martin’s TV Repair.
Leer másthe eeprom is my first thought. if you can remove the main board, (i call it the signal board, same thing) great. you will need skill to remove the eeprom. location is u3102. always try to be darn careful when you do this. you can damage the pc’s and then will be forced to pay for a new main board…$100.00. find someone with great skill to do this. then after you safely remove the eeprom………you can gamble $15.00 and purchase a new one. as a suggestion, it is smart to remove first(carefully), than order. if you order first……and then remove the eeprom unsafely…………you’re out $15.00 and will need a $100.00 for a new board. thanks for asking…….matt of martins tv repair.
