This specific model cannot connect to WiFi so make sure the Ethernet cord is fully inserted into the modem and the back of the BLU-RAY player. If connection is slow, reset your modem.

Inspect the disk for scratches or smudges. If it is scratched up, it won't play, and if it's smudged, it will need to be cleaned with a microfiber rag.

Check to make sure all of the cables are fully plugged in and your television's volume is turn up.
