There are several instruction video's on youtube. The instructions for firmware reset are valid for all Asus tablets. The instructions for opening different types of transfomer tablets are not, each model needs its own approach! I believe that in most cases the connector from the touchscreen flatcable to the main PCB is the main culprit. it takes an opened tablet, then release the connector lock, push the flatcable firmly in its socket and close the lock. But opening the tablet is risky business. Drain batteries to reduce fire risk! Use blunt objects like credit cards or guitar picks to slide around the edges. Stay close to the edge, sticking any object deep into the tablet while removing the screen from the back is a sure way to disaster. If you're not expeienced in these matters, a repair shop is a wise visit
