Hi guys I accidentally purchased the wrong part for my pixel 3aXL… I bought the pixel 3a volume flex ribbon cable instead...

I tried to assemble the pixel 3a volume flex cable and there are a few differences... It's not quite as wide so it actually doesn't fit into the housing as well. it's incredibly difficult to get the fit for the buttons to work right. Additionally the cable is not quite as long as either, however the buttons do you line up in the right area. The biggest problem is that the male to female connection from the ribbon cable to the motherboard does not actually lineup and is off by about 2 mm.. if I were to make it fit I would have to make a hard bend to the ribbon cable which I'm sure would damage it. ... So in a pinch I would assume that someone would be able to make it work... but I would definitely feel more comfortable just buying the be part. Just and FYI for everyone.
