Be extremely careful when cleaning your camera lens! They're very fragile and can crack, scratch, or break easily. If they do, they need to be replaced. There are a few options to choose from to clean your camera lens properly. You can use a can of compressed air, or a lens cleaner solution and cleaning cloth. Do not use Windex and paper towels. Doing so has the potential to damage your lens further. Instead, try going to your local technology store and purchasing lens cleaner designed to carefully and successfully clean your camera lens.
If the LCD monitor of your video camera is loose, you may need to tighten it in order for it to stay in place. This can be accomplished my tightening the two screws located on the inside of the LCD monitor, near the screen. If this doesn't solve the issue, your LCD monitor may need to be replaced.
First, check if there is anything preventing your zoom button from moving from side to side. There might be dirt or residue preventing it from functioning properly. If there is some sort of blockage, take a toothpick and carefully scrape away at the dirt or residue surrounding the button. This should remove most of it, but just to be sure, take a cotton swab with a solvent on it, such as rubbing alcohol, and wipe away the area surrounding the zoom button. This should solve your problem. If there is still an issue, your zoom button may need to be replaced.
