Cuentos de Reparación

Mi Problema

So my 10 year old who gets to play on his tablet on the weekend said that his tablet didn't charge at all the entire week. Sure enough it had been plugged in but no power.

Mi Solucion

Watched some videos, did some web research and came here to buy the part. Replacement was totally straightforward. Took me 15 min . . .

Mi Problema

Initially the device had some sporadic problems but the worst was trouble charging with the USB charger.

Mi Solucion

After removing and installing my first board, the unit started but the screen did not respond to touch. I took it apart and put back together several times and finally gave up figuring I may hav . . .

Mi Problema

I resorted to using wireless charging for a while but not being able to transfer data quickly from a computer was super annoying.

Mi Solucion

The repair was surprisingly easy ! Most difficult part of the process is opening up the tablet. Once you get that done its basically clear sailing from there.

Mi Problema

I had a problem whenever I wanted to charge my Nexus 7 (2013) It just wouldn't charge. It would only charge; sometimes, when you agitate the micro usb end of the charging cable. But after a while, the charging stops again and I would have to agitate the cable's charging end again to get the tablet . . .

Mi Problema

I tried to bend the USB to a 90° because the OTG plug didn't fit. The USB snapped off the board.

Mi Solucion

New board install went smooth

Mi Consejo

Mi Problema

My son Korwin's Nexus 7 FHD (2013) had a broken usb charging port. Additionally, while explaining to me what the problem was he dropped the tablet into my coffee.

Mi Solucion

The repair went smoothly & the repaired tablet has been used daily for over a week now with no problems cropping up.

Mi Consejo

Mi Problema

Some time ago, I dropped my Nexus while the Micro USB charging cord was still plugged in and, of course, it fell right on the plug. The Micro USB port on the Nexus was never the same (specifically the charging cord didn't fit in tightly any more) and the device got more and more finicky about the p . . .

Mi Problema

My Nexus would no longer charge or sync with my PC

Mi Solucion

Simple, just carefully remove the back from the Nexus, remove 6 screws holding the Usb board and unclip and remove all the cables attached replace the board and reverse the process. Took 5 Min. and now its perfect again.

Mi Consejo

The hardest part is removing . . .

Mi Problema

The USB Data/Charging port stopped working on my sons Nexus 7

Mi Solucion

The repair went extremely smooth. I used the teardown guide on iFixit as a reference.

Mi Consejo

Use the plastic opening tools to speed things, keep from scratching up your device, and to save your fingers!

Mi Problema

Dropped my nexus 7 with the micro usb plugged in and messed up the charging port. Tablet would only charge if micro usb was held in a weird position.

Mi Solucion

Reapir couldn't have been easier. Took less than 5 mins to fix.

Mi Consejo

Make sure you put all the screws in the correct place some are a little longer.
