Speeding up old MacBooks

Mi Problema

Two of my late 2009 MacBooks were very slow. So I decided replace hard drives with SSDs. Then I realized that I don't really use the optical drives and I could replace those with the old hard drives.

The instructions to replace optical drives with unibody dual hard drives were excellent and very easy to follow.

Mi Consejo

For the second macbook I skipped the step 10 because it was challenging to reconnect the tiny speaker wire connector.
