Logithech MX Master 3 thumb rubber repair

Mi Problema

There is this common issue with the rubber under your thumb to rip off. I tried a couple of different kind of rubber glue without any success. Finally i used these bike tire repair patches that did the trick. A strip of rubber was completely separated form the device, you can see it in the pictures.

Mi Solución

After a week of use the repair seems to be successful. The patches have a low profile and the touch sense is very similar to the original one.

Mi Consejo

Use some alcohol to rub the surface and clean it from any fat remains.
