iMac SSD Upgrade

Mi Problema

The oem 2TB HDD was just full and unable to boot. Opted to upgrade to SSD and reinstall OS.

Mi Solución

Everything well very well. The kit was well worth the money as I likely would have failed without it. The new adhesive is easy to work with, the foam brace makes things easy and the SSD Temp sensor likely would have been forgotten if I hadn't just purchased this kit.

Mi Consejo

Removing the screen can be tricky but just keep cutting and prying gently and slowly and it will come out. Removing and routing the cables around the HDD can be tricky but again just don't force anything and be patient.
