We had access to a free SE to replace an iPhone 5 which was worn out. Only hitch was the screen was cracked.

I encountered no problems. The repair/replace went as expected.

Along with the Ifixit repair guide, I watched several other repair videos on Youtube. Each guide or video had something a little different that the other did not.
