Required temperature to remove the screen bezel?

I have a general question for all models of MB Air 2010 - 2017

I need to replace some internal cables & hinges but need to know how hot must I set the heat gun to soften the adhesive enough for removal?

And is it possible to replace the Antenna / Wifi cable, can't find any guide on this.... I broke the wire off from the connector on the wifi cable and soldering it back looks like a seriously tricky job https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnNCSlU4...

Here’s a good vid on the process MacBook Air LCD repair, how to replace LCD only as far as the heat it doesn’t take much I set my heat gun to 125 Fahrenheit and as seen in the vid holding the air stream over the bezel and away from the rubber edge.

Yes seen that, seen the guides in here, I also have a 2009 MBP (The stage lights) that I finally have got a new cable for... the screen is proper stubborn and won't budge a mm even at 150 degrees... IF I go higher I will destroy everything... been heating areas for 20 minutes.... none of them seem to want to budge.

@livfe - are you using a suction cup to help in lifting? I’ve hit a few hard one’s because someone glued the glass down with the wrong adhesive material or just too much.

Focus on one corner and after you lift it use a playing card to hold it free (if needed cut the card in half or even smaller). Then walk the edge, you may need to raise the temp a bit and even then it can be very difficult because of previous repairs.

@danj Dan, I know how to get them out, I seen 10 videos on it, It didn't look like anyone was in ther before me, glue was sold. Anyway, screen shattered, and scraping out the residue was a task but now it is clean of everything and the new screen is in, just got to source a new glass.... and the correct longer cable.

The suction cup didn't get into play the glass smashed after I got the 2nd thin plastic tool under it. Glue was sold.
