The Asus Zenbook was manufactured by AsusTek Computer Inc and released in 2015. It has a matt anti-glare finish with a 13.3" touchscreen. The model number is UX303U.

Just installed a new battery. However, it turns off when unplugged.

I installed a new battery using this guide (Reemplazo de la batería Asus Zenbook UX303L)

I let the battery charge to full then turned it on, but when I disconnect the laptop from the power supply, it dies immediately. Windows says my battery is at 100%, and I followed tips online (uninstalling the battery adapters in Device Manager, using Window's troubleshooting tool).

Did I possibly not connect the battery to the motherboard correctly (but why would I see the 100% battery)? What can I do to fix this problem?

Hey Amber, Make sure the battery is connected. The only other thing I can think of is that the battery that you were shipped is faulty.

I haven't re-opened my laptop yet, but I generated a battery report that appears to have the battery installed. That must mean it's connected, right?

The battery can be loose or not fully connected but still show up if the right pins are touching.
