16 Does anyone have a source for a rear housing?
I have come across one of these iPads for pretty cheap, in a pretty damaged condition. iPad does appear to work and with the logic board being located in the center so I am not too concerned aboutThe ability to fix or have any unfixable damage. The rear housing is absolutely destroyed on one side with it being caved in with warps in the aluminum being akin to a pug dogs face, and the other side being extremely bent so there is no beating the dents out, replacement is the only option. Displays are easy enough to come by but the actual housing seems nearly impossible. Even have checked the likes of Aliexpress and either I am using the wrong search terms or they aren’t available there either. If anyone has any source that would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Don't know about Apple but is there a part number printed on the inside of the housing that perhaps you could search for? Just a thought.

@jayeff I don’t have the device in hand currently but in my experience with other products Apple usually doesn’t have part numbers on newer iPads. Mainly just would like to know how much so I can purchase the device because I don’t want to buy the iPad for cheap, spend an insane amount on parts, and end up close to the same price it would cost to just buy one that is already working.
