How Do I Build The Face Gear Rubber Material On The Base Face Gear?

Anyone able to build back the rubber material or use another material on the face gear on the base part of the interface where the pitchers interface? The sawtooth base gear rubber has mostly worn away and everything else is OK seems. Was thinking maybe Plasti-Dip or something heavier duty polymer adhesive that dries to smooth solid surface. Maybe even ABS dissolved in acetone and building the material up using that? Any thoughts or can that be replaced and I'm not finding online how to yet? Probably can 3D print a mold and use the materials above and get a more uniform even rebuild.
