@jrangel88 this "asks me to update the date and time then I accept and the screen goes black" sounds like a bad RTC battery. I would start by checking that out. If a new battery does not do anything then it is entirely possible that teh issue is related to a bad sensor or a bad lens. For any of this, you will have to disassemble your camera. Once there check the mainboard (both sides) and see if you can identify the RTC battery. REplace that and then re-evaluate.
