Sony controller model number CUH-ZCT1U is not charging. When I plug it in to charge the light goes on for about 2-3 seconds then it goes off. Doesn't charge it

I've repaired about four-hundred of these, and have run into this problem a couple of times. I think that the problem was that the connection between the micro usb connector inside the ps4 cont. shell was not connected properly to the ribbon cable, or the ribbon cable was not inserted fully into the motherboard. This is a very simple repair, just be careful not to bend or tear the cable.
