My right joystick on my xbox elite series 2 controller has stopped working. When you try to push it down to press the button, it feels like there is no button. It feels squishy.

If you know basic soldering this shouldn’t be hard, and the replacement parts are fairly cheap.

This is a very difficult repair. You need to replace the right joystick, there are soldered onto the main motherboard. The replacement parts are cheap, but removing it without damaging the motherboard is very difficult.
