iPhone SE (2020) restarts every 3 minutes

I recently dropped my phone and it now restarts every 3 minutes. I searched on the internet and have found several people with a similar problem but I'm not sure if I have the exact same one. I really don't want to buy a new phone and would appreciate any help.

Hi Marc,

Well, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is the drop appears to have damaged your lightning port flex cable assembly, but the good news is it's fixable.

The panic log you pulled up gives us the vital clue we need to diagnose your issue right here.

According to the Kernel Panics Wiki page, sensor mic1 is located on the charging port assembly.

I'll give you a 90% chance that replacing the charge port assembly will fix the problem. Here's the part you'll need.

iPhone 8 Lightning Connector Assembly

Note that the 2nd generation SE is based on the iPhone 8 and retains much of the same hardware in exchange for an updated processor and motherboard, so the SE 2020 and the 8 use the same Lightning connector assembly.

Here's the guide to follow to replace your assembly.

That should do it. Good luck on your repair, and let us know how it goes!
