How to remove ads from my phone

To stop the ads you can either:

a). Swipe down on the home screen and then tap on the ↑↓ arrow icon in the notification bar, to disable mobile data.

Note doing this stops internet access by the phone and also prevents you from sending/receiving mms message (texts with picture and videos), sms messages (text only) are unaffected. This is a good way to control your data download. Turn it on/off when you want to.

b). Open the Phone Manager app > Data Usage > tap to enable data saving mode (this prevents background apps from using mobile data) and select the apps that have unrestricted data access
