@sue90106 let us know the exact model TCL. Keep it unplugged and remove the back cover. Take a look at the power board. Check for any burned, or otherwise damaged looking components. Take some good pictures of all of your circuit boards and post those with your QUESTION. That way we can see what you see.

Sparking and turning off is usually a failure of the power board. Could be a few components or just one. We'll have to see what your boards look like.
