2018 Chevy Cruze rear brake/turn signal work until the lights are on

I have a 2018 Chevy Cruze with a tail/brake/turn signal light problem, but only on the passenger side and only when the lights have been turned on. Everything works fine, both tail light signals indicate turn when engaged, and both brake lights function properly. However once the lighting system has turned on, (either automatically or manually) the passenger side light function works, but the turn signal and brake light no longer function. What would cause this to happen and how can I fix it? I am very good fixing things but this one has me stumped. I took the light off of the pigtail and tested the circuit. Everything traveling from the BCM is reading just as it should on my multimeter, and the harness on the bulb side has good continuity on all three wires. So again I am stumped on what to check next. If you have any suggestions I would like to hear them. Thanks.

Don't know the vehicle but does it have both a passenger tail light and a passenger side marker light?

If so does the tail light work when the the lights are turned on as you only mentioned the side marker light?

If not then it may be that the tail light filament in the brake/tail bulb is short circuit which would prevent the brake light and the turn signal light from operating when the lights are turned on.

Try swapping the brake/tail bulb between the passenger and the driver side and check if the problem stays on the passenger side or moves to the driver side

Unfortunately there is only one single bulb which performs all three functions. Tail light, brake light and turn signal. I tried swapping the bulbs and even tried reversing the bulb in the socket thinking perhaps it was a polarity issue, however none of these provided a solution.

The same thing happens when the hazard lights are flashing. All of the flashing hazard lights work just fine until the lights are turned on and constant power is supplied. Only the rear passenger side stops flashing.

After doing some research I have read that the problem is probably a short in the wiring. Somewhere between the BCM and the pigtail connection at the tail light assembly. I'm going to see if I can disconnect the wiring from the BCM and test for continuity. If it isn't the wiring I have read that the problem might be the BCM itself.

Not completely certain that this will provide the answer I'm looking for but it seems like a sound place to begin and if nothing else, eliminate some possibilities.

Looking at an image of the bulb it has 3 filaments

Try removing the bulb and then check if there's a voltage on the socket connector pins (use a pin attached to your voltmeter probe with a alligator clip perhaps) for the turn and brake light filaments when the light function is selected.

Logically there should be two voltages detected one on the pin for the light filament and one on the pin for the filament for whatever other function you selected e.g. if turn signal selected then it should be on and off.
