Power button only works when held and machine stuck on "remove tray"

I have a Jura Impressa C5, I needed to clean the spout as one of the outlets was blocked. I removed and cleaned the spout using the guide here, but unfortunately after cleaning and reassembling, the unit no longer works.

Pressing the power button no longer turns on the machine, I need to hold it in order for the machine to come on. Releasing the power button immediately shuts off the unit.
When the power button is held, the unit is stuck in the "remove tray" mode and does not progress. I have tried the reset option, removing the tray, the bin shelve and the grinds bin, then reinserting the tray and the bin shelve without the grinds bin. I also tried activating the microswitch inside manually. Neither yielded any result.
There do not appear to be any contacts inside this model to be cleaned, but I may have missed them.
I have carefully searched the machine, but no wires seem to be broken or stuck.
Opening the power button container I found that the switches appear to be working fine, closing and starting the machine when the button is pressed in but opening when the button is released.

Any suggestions on resolving this?

Puuh. For me everything looks ok. A few days ago I had to replace the Rotary Switch, which showed some issues. It's rather easy, perhaps you should open the box and check it, it's connections?? The transformer? But sorry, I have no good idea to helping you.

Thanks for the reply Vauweh. It appears to be in order. Oh well, we had sort of condemned this unit any way, given that maintenance has been lacking in the last half decade. Thanks for the help either way!

Last ideas: Transformer and noise reduction filter. Same as S-type Models: Jura Impressa S Modelle

I was afraid that it might come to that :') I checked the connections there, also checked if they might be wet, to no avail. Unfortunately I don't have the tools, skills or replacement parts to swap either if they turn out to be broken. Thanks again for the help, it's much appreciated!
