Why is my MacBook Pro trackpad erratic?
A month ago, my cursor started jumping all over the place when I used the trackpad. It seems to get worse as the Mac warms up

On this model, one of the battery cells is located beneath the trackpad. It may be the case that the battery cell is expanding and effecting the functionality of the trackpad. I'd recommend opening the computer and inspecting the condition of the battery, the trackpad, and the trackpad cable. It would be a good idea to keep an eye out for signs of liquid damage as well.
