Screen stopped working after battery replacement

I had the samething happen when I replaced the battery on my wifes S10+. Phones screen worked fine when I replaced battery and she charged up the phone. When she came home from work the screen had some issues and after restart never turns back on. I get a vibration from phone turning on and thats it.

Check if the display flex cable is securely connected to the systemboard.

Here are some images from the troubleshooting section of the service manual that may also help.

As can be seen in the left hand Power On troubleshooting flowchart image at step 2 in the flowchart, if there is no display but the phone vibrates on startup it shows to change the display. Hopefully it is just a loose connection.

If still no good you may have to follow the Display troubleshooting flowchart shown in the right hand image.

If someone finds this thread for issues screen relating to changing the battery, then this may help ya.

Leave the phone alone for a good while. I left my wifes S10+, not charging for 24 hours.

Then try the phone again, if nothing

Plug the phone into a charger and try again. If it still doesn't restart normally, then unplug the battery while the phone is still charging and reattach the batrery while still charging.

The scheen should now start normally.

Not sure if the above is exactly what I did, but its basically what I did.

Yesterday, all I did was replace a battery. I didn't even need to remove the back cover as the battery puffed up and was getting hot enough that it removed the back cover all by itself. Besides removing a ton of small screws, it only took me few minutes to change to battery, and never touched the screen or the screen cable connection. The screen
