Won’t clean dishes and swipe all detergent out what should we do?

What is the model number of the dishwasher?

Check if both of the spray arms are turning by placing them in a remembered known position and then starting the dishwasher and letting it run for a few minutes, then stop the dishwasher and check if they've moved. Allow time to fill and to start washing cycle etc.

If they're not turning it could be a circulation pump issue or even blocked spray arms outlets (have you checked the filter?) but you need to know what's happening (or not happening) first. The water being pumped through the spray arms causes them to rotate.
