Hi @vyengr

I was unable to find an equivalent drop in replacement using the part number that you supplied, but the following info may help.

As volume controls are usually a logarithmic type potentiometer, here is a 2 gang 100K Ohm log pot that may be suitable.

Here is a 2 gang 100K Ohm ''linear'' pot if that is what is needed.

In both cases, check the associated datasheet in the link to see if the dimensions/ratings etc are comparable to what you have now i.e. shaft length, diameter etc.

Is there any information stamped on the potentiometer itself that may give further clues as to what its specifications are?

Thanks. The part I need is almost identical but with a 30mm shaft : PDB182-K230K-104A.

You may have saved a beautiful old Kenwood KR4600 from the recycling heap -- assuming nothing else if wrong with it, of course. Much appreciated!

@vyengr

If the shaft is too long you should be able to cut it back to the correct length. Too short is a different matter ;-)

If you haven't already got it, here's a link to the service manual that may help if there are any further problems.

Cheers
