1 to 9 and control keys suddenly stopped working

Hey guys. My 1 to 9 keys together with the control key suddenly stopped working. I had a window replacement in my room and there was a lot of dust after it finished and I had to clean it with wet wipes. It worked perfectly after the cleaning for about an hour then I went out for about 2 to 3 hours and when I came back home the aforementioned keys had stopped working. What could be the problem and is there a way to repair it?

If your keyboard has an LED indicator for the Num Lock key, the light should be turned on when the numbers can be typed.

In your case, double-check that the keys themselves aren't clogged with dust or other dirt by cleaning out your keyboard with a specialised keyboard cleaner.

Carefully turn the keyboard or laptop upside down and gently shake it. Usually, anything beneath the keys or inside the keyboard will shake out of the device, freeing up the keys for effective functioning once again.
