Swap iSight with FaceTime Camera
Is it possible to replace an iSight camera in an old MacBook Pro with a newer FaceTime camera?

Sadly, it’s not really possible. Its a bit of a square peg round hole problem.
I would just recommend using a clip on camera which will offer even better performance. I recommend the Logitech C930e it even better than what Apple offers in their 13/15” models!
