Heater A/C blower motor not working!

The blower motor quick working in our 2011 Nissan Rogue SL. It’s completely dead. I replaced the resistor….that didn’t fix it. I then replaced the blower motor….and that didn’t fix it. I’ve checked the fuses and every relay I can find (under dash and under hood). I pulled the climate controls (three knobs) to see if there was any obvious issues such as burn marks on the circuit board….nothing. I’m at a loss. Any thoughts, or words of wisdom?

Did you ever figure this out? I am having the same issue. I've replaced EVERYTHING except the climate control panel: Blower Motor, Resistor, Fuses, Relay. It gets cold and won't blow. I'm in Texas and it's well over 100 every day. UGH.

@Shannon Reynolds you need to see if the control panel is sending power to the blower motor. If it isn't then replacing everything else.wont do anything for you. It looks like this is the wiring diagram for this particular vehicle https://portal-diagnostov.com/en/2020/07...

You may have to get in there and start going backwards. By that I mean check for power to ground using a 12v test light at the blower. Then incoming to the fan. Then the relay, and so.on and so forth. Just start at the blower and go backwards from there until you find the spot where you should have power but don't.

Hi @wrenthius,

Don’t know the answer but here’s the Heater & Air Conditioning Control System section of the 2011 Nissan Rogue (S35) Service Repair Manual that may help.

Pages HAC-31 thru HAC-36 detail how to self diagnose the AC system and pages HAC-43 thru HAC-46 detail how to check the blower motor.

Hopefully this is of some help.

Hello.

How did you check the relay’s? You need to check the Curcit betwen the IPD ( its under the Hood with bunch a fuses) and the blower motor connector. Un plug it and check for continuity(here we checking for open). Check for short. If here everything is good Check the climate control. CHeck for open between the Climate control and resistor/blower motor. You can find information how to do this on googlle.

Hope this helps.
