Is it possible to open the charger base?
I've moved country and would like to replace the lead, is the base with the glass possible to open or is it epoxied shut?

Have you checked the specifications on the charger base to see what AC voltage and frequency it requires and if that is the same voltage and frequency of the mains power supply in your new location?
if they are the same then it may be easier to just replace the plug of the charger power cord to suit the power outlet type, that way you don't have to open the charger.

Yes, I'm using it with a simple adapter now but it's bulky. It's from the UK shaver plug to the EU two prong plug, and the replacement plus available are too bulky, I'll see if I can sneak a peak.
