No Sound, Vibration or charging

I recently got an Iphone 8 to repair and have just finished transferring it to a new housing. Everything appeared to work fine until I realized the taptic engine, charging port and loudspeaker where no longer working. I have tried reconnecting the charging port assembly but have had no success and the phone has never been in contact with water. Would I need to purchase a new charging port or could it be a bad connection elsewhere?

If the logic board charge dock connector looks alright it will most likely be a faulty charging port as the things you mentioned that are not working are on separate circuits.

Ok, thanks for the info. What should I do if it's the logic board connection thats causing the issue?

@Jason Brooks You would need to replace the connector which will require microsoldering. If it doesn’t look damaged it will be the charge assembly that needs replacing. As I said all your problems come from the charge port it would be highly unlikely that multiple pins would be damaged on the connector.
