Brand new Samsung 8series 4K .

Brand new Samsung 8series 4K. Purchased August 1 2020. Today when I went to watch tv. It wouldn’t turn on. Did all the tricks in the book. Smh

What is the model number of the TV?

Do not try to fix it yourself beyond testing that the power outlet is OK and that the batteries in the remote are also OK so as to not void the manufacturer’s warranty

If you have proven that the power outlet that the TV is connected to is working OK (plug in a hair dryer and try it) and the TV’s standby power light is on and you have tried to turn on the TV by using either the remote control or the TV’s power on button (if it has one) and it doesn’t turn on, then contact the manufacturer about the problem as the TV will be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. (see the warranty statement that came with the TV, as to what to do to make a warranty claim)

If the TV’s standby power light is not on was there a storm or power outage overnight? If there was a power outage etc and the TV’s standby power light is not on then they may deny a warranty claim, saying that the problem was caused by something beyond their control.
