I have an iphone 6 that charges with a wall charger but it won’t be recognized by a pc when plugged in. I tried multiple computers/cables and also replaced the charging port but still no luck.

Uninstall and re-install iTunes and plug your iPhone into a different USB port. That should help.

I don't think it's itunes as my other iphone is detected just fine and there is no difference when using a different usb port.
@ntec May I know if you've just encountered this issue only recently?
@v3nuo This is not my phone so I don’t know. It appears the tristar chip is bad so I will leave it at that.

Are you using original apple cables. If you are it could be a fault with the board like tristar or Tigris ic’s

Yes, original cable.

I did more research and it appears others are saying it's a bad tristar chip so I will chalk it up to a bad tristar.
