Toshiba sata MK1234GSX Disconnects randomly at anytime!

Hello everyone,

I have this hard disk "SATA Toshiba 120GB" Model No: MK1234GSX

i have it for more than 4 years and it was working great. now a days when i plug it in, it disconnects straight away even if i'm transferring data, playing music or seeing photos (i lost so much data because of it!)

sometimes when i plug it in it works good but i think once i touch it, it directly disconnects, so i just formatted both partions (i thought it needed to) but the problem hasn't been solved.

This issue applies to my macbook pro and all kind of windows and linux

i searched for cable for it, in case if the usb cable has been damaged or something but i couldn't find any.

Please help:( i don't want to loose more data :(
