I was wondering if there is any safety issues with this. I was going to just replace the battery, but I figured I might as well replace the track pad too at the same time. If there are any other suggestions, I’m open to it. Thanks for your time and help.

Has the battery swollen up and broken the trackpad? If so more care needs to be taken upon replacing!
