Hi, would anybody give me a few drives i can use instead the UJ-867-CA ? This one is very expensive. Can i use the UJ-875?
Please help me, i don't want to change the drive more than one time ;-)

You tried the same what? Do you know that your old drive is bad? Consider an external drive that will move to your next machine. I like the LaCie drives. If you get a FireWire drive you will be able to boot from it. Here's a good one: http://www.lacie.com/us/products/range.h...

I tried to use the search function but i didn't find anything.
The uj-875 is about 12mm high but the original one only 9mm.
If the original drive is 9 mm and you try to use a 12 mm it's like you trying to fit into a pair of pants that are three sizes to small. Your book will not close and the disk slot will be out of line. Try to use some common since when repairing anything.
