Hi Tharaka,
As you have encountered A PC shutting down suddenly, which is usually a sign of a power problem and can be extremely frustrating. This can cause you to lose whatever you're working on, but it may also be a sign of damage to the computer itself. Generally, when a computer powers down on its own it's due to the power supply, malware, overheating or driver issues.
Additionally, an unexpected shutdown of system can make your data inaccessible as well. The good way to overcome this problem and recover files after unexpected shutdown is by using a recovery tool that supports Windows PE.
Before locating the problem, make sure you backed up your computer all the time.
If it works with the charger connected then the battery is defective.

Try this:
Remove battery.
Connect a different charger, say borrow a friends, with the same voltage.
Does the laptop turn on?
Does anything appear on the screen?
When troubleshooting you want to eliminate possible causes so in this case we are trying find out if the battery or the charger is the problem
If it is not the battery or charger causing the problem then it is something on the computer's main board.
