Does anyone know how to teardown the new Nvidia Sheild TV 2019 remote?
Does anyone have experience on tearing down the new Nvidia Shield TV 2019 remote? I noticed there are no guides online anywhere or official manuals.
I tried opening it up, but it seems to be tightly closed up. I cant find screws anywhere on the remote itself and I’m afraid to break it if I forced it open.
Anyone with experience on this care to share some thoughts?

Why are you trying to teardown the device? If you are having a problem with it, there is likely a limited warranty. It may have been voided however since you tried to open it.

I am fully aware of the consequences, and Im ready to buy a new one if I break it. I'm just interested to see if I can disable the backlight to save battery, or lets say I want to rip out the mic for privacy reasons. And yes, I know these can be done in software.

I've been looking for this too. I want to move buttons to make it easier to use. The FF/Rew side by side, instead of above and below the play button.
I can remap once I move the buttons.

Same i just want to rearrange the buttons a remove the Netflix button and cast a new one in resin and blackout with plex cutout so its a plex button back-lit

The left direction of my circle nav button no longer has any travel and I need to replace the spring within it or something
