Have you tried using Assistive Touch? It enables all button features from a small utility on the touch screen:

Turn on Assistive Touch - Apple iPhone 4S

  1. From the home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Scroll to and tap General.
  3. Tap Accessibility.
  4. Scroll to and tap AssistiveTouch.
  5. Tap the AssistiveTouch toggle enable or disable the feature.
  6. AssistiveTouch is now enabled. Note: Tap the Circle icon to access the AssistiveTouch features.

@refurbpro .. Thank you Sir. I need to triple-click the home button in order to acces the main menu, since my Home button is broken, I can't touch the screen and the blue box just keeps on jumping.

Okay so this will be a little trickier... You will need to use a notification to get into the iPhone. Better yet if your phone is updated enough you might be able to swipe left in the center of the home screen to bring up a search bar. Then navigate to settings and turn it off.

If you are having trouble, try restarting the iPhone to clear any open apps.

I have this problem too but it doesn't allow me to scroll when I'm on settings it just keeps going up and down from my display name to my airplane mode all the way down to my personal hotspot but instead of allowing me to scroll past that part it goes right back up to search bar and does the same thing from the search bar to my display name down to my personal hotspot and right back up again.

I figured how to turn switch control off on my Iphone 12Pro by trial-and error efforts. I pressed the power 3 consecutive times and it brought up the list screen of accessibility shortcuts...from there you can press to turn off functions like "Switch Control" off and On

I have had this same problem of enabling switch control without a working home button. But I managed to fix the problem by having a friend send a message. I taped on this iMessage notification notification and then entered my password. Once my phone was unlocked in iMessage I could ask Siri to activate AssitsiveTouch.

Tell Siri to turn on Assistive Touch, if you can’t touch your screen.
