Antenna Loss After Screen Change
I don't understand what I am doing wrong. I followed the guide to replace the screen on 2 phones, and both phones have signal loss.
I didn't wear gloves (I will next time). I cleaned out all the connectors with Windex and changed all the screws. My device seems to be put back together properly.
Did someone have a similar problem and then find a solution? I would really like to see my bars go back up again. I can't be the only one with this problem.
Please help

Thank you for your response Nicksmacan.
Which connector are you talking about? I am pretty sure I connected everything properly. I have done a lot of work on older Iphone 3G, 3GS..... but I can't shake this one problem with the iPhone 4.
Could you please explain further. Which connector is not connected right.? The antenna by the speaker? It seems pretty solid to me.

Nicksmacan,
I need your help. I am still dealing with this issue. I think you're right about the connector not being seated right.
When you refer to the connector, are you talking about the steel plate that goes on top of all of the connections up top? If so, I noticed sometimes when you press in the middle, like I think you said it snaps right in. On my current phone, it won't snap right on. I look at it, and it doesn't appear to be damaged, but it won't snap in. Every time I try to push it down, it comes up a bit and no snap. I secure it firmly with the screws, but I get antenna loss.
Is there a secret to putting it in? Please help.. I am struggling with this and I want to solve this issue.
