Jacuzzi Hotub J1000 Control Panel is Off and Interior LEDS Flashing

We have a Jacuzzi J480 Hotub that is no longer operating. The J1000 Control Panel (#6600-857) is completely dark and the interior tub LEDs are flashing. Does anyone have any ideas what this means or have a technician’s manual? (please don’t send me the Home Owner Jacuzzi® Hot Tubs J-400 Error Conditions/ Error Messages as these don’t help).

Any guidance is greatly appreciated. I’m an EE so I’m pretty comfortable with my Fluke VM and wiring in electrical equipment.

Hi @papavelo ,

Don’t know the answer but here’s the 2010+ J400 Standard Troubleshooting Approach Manual. Hopefully it is not the one that you said not to post. Not exactly the same model unless they mean the J400 series. It also uses the J1000 control panel, so perhaps it is close enough to be of some help.

Given that the panel is “off” the first thing to check is that you have the required power supplied to the setup.

They make a point of saying that 208V will not work, and that 240V is required.

If the supplied power is OK then on p.28 it shows how to troubleshoot without the control panel.
