Any idea where I could purchase a QFN8 to DIP8 Adapter that will fit a bios chip off the 820 00875 board. The only one I have and can find is this but it is too big.
I am using the Mini Pro TL866CS

Thanks Dan. I think that one is 4x3mm I did find one by pasting your link into google that is 3x2mm which is the size of the bios chip but they are expensive. I was hoping to find just the board for a couple of dollars and just solder the chip to it but I gather they don’t make the adapter boards that small. Might be cheaper and quicker to run jumper wires from the chip to the adapter I have.
The chips are still getting smaller and its getting harder!
Pin arrays require these sockets and as the marketer them is so small they are expensive!
