I know I’m going to do a forehead slap when I read the answer, but….is there a way to tell if my SP4 is on other than watching the screen? I have been working on mine (replacing the battery) and have had the screen off and on at least 20 times. I think it won’t turn on, but need to eliminate the screen as a possible cause. Thanks!

Plug a USB device in and see if it powers on? If it does the surface is switched on.
