The post is specifically to do with replacing an iphone part that I bought. The post contains links to the repair guide/ifixit product page. Are the links the issue?

Hi @paddyrick123 ,

Try posting the question without the links that you inserted with the question.

Just briefly describe what they show.

I suspect that the irobot is mistaking the links that you are inserting as spam for some reason because it is in a question as it usually passes the links when they are inserted in answers.

Of course i could be totally wrong about this. ;-)

Ok will do, thank you very much!!

Hi @jayeff it is still deleting the post! Is there anything else I should try?

- de

Hi @paddyrick123 ,

I can't see any reason for it.

I suggest that you ask about your question being auto deleted by the iRobot here and get the admins to look at the problem.

Unfortunately they won't be on deck until Monday.

EDIT

Sorry I just noticed that you've already done that

Solución Elegida

If you have a question post it here, if you have a concern within a give guide or teardown then post it within that document. Links are mostly limited to here and you do need to have enough rep points as well.

How about just posting your question or thought here so we can see it.

Ok sure, is there a word limit to a question? Its just i retried posting it without the links but its entirely possible my accounts been blocked or something.

My question was just about some blue film that was covering a contact on the logic board cable for the wifi antenna (for an iphone 6 )and whether I should remove it or leave it on.

The original part had some sort of paste on it so I wanted to check if the film was needed to protect the component or or whether it should be removed before assembly.

Should I post it as a new question?

The film is probably just the backing of the double sided tape that's on a lot of flexes, peel it off and stick it down
