Stuck on blue screen that says there is no device connected to tv

Hisense 50k360g. Only button that works is power button on tv itself. Just says “there is no device connected to tv!” I’ve tried unplugging and other things to no avail. Need help asap.

Hi @brady_hess ,

What "other things" have you tried?

Knowing this may have saved time and repetition.

What did you "unplug" and if it was the power for how long?

Have you tried a different signal source and connecting it to a different input type than normally used, e.g. connect a dvd player via the component, composite or HDMI connection (whichever one you are NOT using now) and see if that works?

This just happened to me as well. No remote. I've tried a different source, doesn't work. I've tried to unplug it and let it sit to know avail. I'm starting to think this brand is junk! Getting frustrated.

Turn tv on. Minute tv says hisense right when it's about to go blue hit the menu on the back of tv. You might have to hit the button couple times for it to come up on screen. It is the only way to fix the tv. Use the arrows and what not to get to channel where it says cable or antenna. If you mess with those enough you will get it back on. Trust me I just did.

@tammysenio41568 this question has been floating around for the last 4 1/2 years. It'll be difficult for you to get the information you need. Let's start from scratch. What make and model is your TV? What does or does it not, do? What have you tried? What is going on with it? The more information you provide the more likely you are to get a helpful answer.

Hello..

Before you do anything you will be check your some things,

Make sure your TV receiver is on and your cable connected securely. May be your cable not connected exactly, I mean it can be loose. but if all these things is correct then pickup your remote hit the input TV audio/video button.

check if there is a signal coming in another source connected to your TV.

@Maria Garza

What is the model number of the TV?

Try connecting another signal source e.g. dvd player to the TV (HDMI or Component or Composite video connection) and then using the Input button on the side of the TV (if it has one) to change inputs to check if there is a display or not.

It may be that there is a problem with the signal source (is it a cable box?) and not the TV.

Turn tv off.

Disconnect all but one hdmi source and make sure it is off (ie a directv receiver connected to hdmi 1 and turned off)

Turn tv on but immediately start hitting the menu button.

If a menu is not displayed, repeat.

Using buttons on back

Once in menu, turn on hdmi-cec under the settings section and all hdmi to turn on tv.

Turn you hdmi source on-this should change your source
